It started with a song
Ron Di Roma, signed to Capital Records in the 80s, was most noted for his re-recording and release of Your Precious Love. After years traveling and touring in the music industry, RD met and performed with many notable musicians from the Motown era. In doing so, he realized that talent needed a place to live within venues. After meeting his wife, CJ DiRoma, the duo started Star Productions from their one-bedroom apartment on Station Avenue in Haddon Heights NJ.
With a newborn and a dream, they turned the business into a small-town success story. The core of the business was to provide entertainment to venues and consumers alike. Focusing on talent buying and concert production, CJ and Ron ran the business as co-founders continuing the company’s growing success. After many rewarding years, Ron Di Roma retired. CJ DiRoma, re-introduced the company as Station Avenue Productions, with exciting new services such as marketing, public relations, event production and client management.
The rest is history.
Gabriella (Bella) DiSilvestro, CEO
Being the product of two industry moguls, Bella had a natural talent from a young age for arts and entertainment. After years of modeling, acting, dancing and performing, B found comfort behind the curtain rather than in front of it. Her career began answering phones, filing and studying contracts and riders in her parents’ office. After turning 16, she was entrusted to advance upcoming shows and assist with travel and hospitality needs. Shortly after, Bella began assisting event production on-site for Station Avenues clients, sparking her passion for live events. “Witnessing human beings in a natural state of joy; laughing and smiling with people they have never met, unfazed by tomorrow’s problems, creates one of the greatest joys ever experienced.”
While attending Drexel University, B participated in multiple developmental projects for sports entities such as the National Lacrosse League and AEG. Landing her an opportunity as the Event Manager for the 2018 and 2019 NLL Entry Draft at Xfinity Live! Philadelphia. All while continuing to build and refine her event skills under Station Avenue Productions. Upon graduation, B accepted the role of General Manager for Cescaphe’s flagship location, Cescaphe Ballroom, where she learned the ins and outs of the wedding industry from one of the premier wedding companies in Philadelphia.
After 15 years in the industry, B is still dedicated to creating new concepts in the world of events. With the launch of Bella DiRoma Events, she has created an accessible platform for clients big and small with any size budget, alleviating the pain points of planning and executing a successful event.
